We are seeking qualified candidates to fill a newly-created in-house Recruiter role. The position is ideal for a highly-capable, high-functioning and self-starting individual looking to have a big, immediate impact on the company while working on multiple, important staffing assignments.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Work with hiring managers to formulate job descriptions and ads for an average of 20 open positions at any given time
· Post and monitor ads on Indeed, ZipRecruiter, Metro’s Careers page, Craigslist, Monster, LinkedIn, etc
· Enhance, boost, re-post, etc job ads on a proscribed, routine basis
· Create hiring-related posts for social media and Metro’s website
· Provide recruiting stats/reports weekly and ad hoc/on request
· Follow up with hiring managers to ensure efficient and accurate filling of open positions
· Seek out, develop and maintain relationships with career offices at local colleges, universities, high schools and trade schools
· Screen resumes and perform initial phone/video interview (~30 minutes)
· Coordinate second/third round interviews with candidates and hiring managers
· Send rejection notifications for candidates eliminated from consideration
· Facilitate generation of offer letters with HR Generalist
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent secondary education plus work experience) from a competitive college or university, ideally in Human Resources, Business or related field
· Minimum of two years prior experience and responsibility recruiting for a wide range of positions
· Demonstrable proficiency with industry-standard recruiting tools
· Experience with HRIS a plus; we will be looking to on-board an HRIS in 2022 and will look to the chosen candidate to make software recommendations and participate in the roll-out
· Outstanding organizational and time management skills
· Efficient multi-tasker
· Self-starter able to work effectively with busy hiring managers
· Energetic, enthusiastic and flexible
· Excellent, reliable written and verbal communication and interviewing skills
· Polished, professional presentation
Compensation: $55-$58k, commensurate with experience. Medical/dental insurance, 401k with company match, generous paid leave, company-paid life insurance, FSA.
