Infrared Scanning
Infrared Electrical Scanning is designed to detect damaged, malfunctioning or overloaded electrical equipment. Abnormal heat can be detected by performing routinely scheduled infrared scanning. The abnormal heat discharged by electrical equipment like transfer switches, capacitors, circuit breakers, control cabinets, disconnects, fuses, distribution panels, junction boxes etc. is a tell-tale sign that equipment will eventually fail and could result in a fire. Our infrared screening will also help identify system inefficiencies, which can streamline electricity use and potentially reduce carbon dioxide emissions. If unaddressed, a relatively simple fix will result in equipment downtime, damaged or destroyed equipment, and fires. Our infrared scan will produce a detailed report of all electrical components, highlight trouble areas, and provide recommendations for corrective actions/repairs.
