Oil-to-Gas Conversions
When completing an Oil-to-Gas conversion we typically recommend a dual fuel burner, so you have a back-up incase there is an issue with gas service. During these complex jobs, a dedicated Project Manager is assigned to personally expedite project completion and provide progress updates. An oil-to-gas conversion will reduce your heating system’s carbon emission by 35% and sulfur dioxide, an air pollutant, by 99%.
In-house Con Edison and National Grid experts work as liaisons between the building and the utility companies. Fully licensed in-house oil burner installer and master plumbers provide sign-offs for necessary permits. Finally, in-house DEP and DOB experts ensure that projects are completed up to code and your new capital equipment is registered properly with respective agencies.
We also handle the chimney requirements for oil to gas conversion projects. The conversions can entail, smoke testing the chimney, acid testing the brick, scanning the interior of the chimney and/or replacing the existing or installing a new chimney, we are the experts to call when you need any work pertaining to the chimney to make it code compliant for these conversions.
