Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP)
Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP) are one of the many solutions needed to ween off our reliance on nonrenewable energy resources. ASHPs are split-system heating and cooling units that use air, ground water, to heat and cool a room. They run on electricity, rather than oil or gas, which can be generated by solar or wind power. ASHP can save you up to 70% of fuel costs and can significantly reduce your building’s carbon emissions.
Metro Group is a NYC Clean Heat (NYSERDA Clean Heat) contractor for ASHPs. We provide a turnkey design and HVAC installation service for all your heat pump projects. Metro Group is also able to apply for state-sponsored rebate programs to help you offset the upfront costs of installing heat pumps in your building.
