Domestic House Tanks, the wooden or steel tanks typically on top of large buildings are regulated by NYC DOB and DOH. The Metro Group can handle all of the required tasks quickly, easily, and professionally.
Domestic House Tank Sampling
As part of the required annual domestic house tank inspection, an E.coli & coliform sample must be pulled from your tank and analyzed at a certified lab. The sample results must be submitted with your inspection report to the DOH website (see Filing). The Metro Groups trained staff can collect the sample, and it will be analyzed in our in-house ELAP and CDC ELITE certified lab. Corrective actions following a positive sample result will can also be handled by the Metro Group. In addition, many buildings elect to complete a Legionella sample of their drinking water tank as well.
