FUEL CONVERSIONS
Metro Group’s National Mechanical Division has been installing new burners and boilers and assisting clients to improve their fuel efficiency and reduce their carbon footprint for decades. All of these complex jobs are assigned a dedicated Project Manager to take responsibility for the entire project from start to finish.
Load Letters
The first step in any gas conversion project is to secure a load letter from the prevailing gas utility company; typically ConEd or National Grid in the NYC area. This letter will confirm if and when gas service can be brought to your building, as well as clarity any underlying costs associated with it. Our in-house ConEd and National Grid specialists will walk you though this process to get an expedited ruling allowing us to move forward with this project, and potentially securing rebates to offset the cost of the conversion.
